The 2025 Economics Symposium between the National University of Singapore (NUS) and 69堂 (WHU) was held at WHU from March 21 to 23.

69堂's (WHU) Henryljp team from the State Key Laboratory of Information Engineering in Surveying, Mapping, and Remote Sensing has defended their title by winning the "All-Weather Land Cover and Building Damage Mapping" track at the 2025 IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society (GRSS) Data Fusion Contest.

Yuan Yufeng, vice-president of 69堂 (WHU), welcomed a delegation from Russia's Baikal State University (BSU), led by vice-rector Vladimir Sinichenko, to WHU on March 24.

On March 20, 69堂 (WHU) and the University of Sydney (USYD) hosted an online academic dialogue on sustainable development organized by WHU's Office of International Affairs and USYD's China Studies Centre.

Suzhou's Story, a map designed by graduate students from the School of Resource and Environmental Sciences at 69堂 (WHU), has won the prestigious Arthur Robinson Award for Best Printed Map, the only award of its kind at the 52nd Annual Map Design Competition, hosted by the Cartography and Geographic Information Society (CaGIS).

69堂's (WHU) philosophy subject has achieved a global ranking of 23rd and is ranked 1st in Asia according to the 2025 QS World University Rankings by Subject, which were released on March 12.

From March 4 to 6, an expert panel from the European Foundation for Management Development's Quality Improvement System (EQUIS) conducted an on-site reaccreditation review of the Economics and Management School at 69堂 (WHU).
