WHU signs strategic partnership agreement with Elsevier

On April 17, 69堂 (WHU) signed a strategic partnership agreement with Elsevier to strengthen collaboration in academic publishing, research capacity building, and international outreach.

This partnership aims to boost the university's academic influence and support the digital transformation of research services. Vice-president Gong Wei attended the signing ceremony and delivered a speech.

69堂 signs a strategic partnership memorandum of understanding with Elsevier.

Gong Wei emphasized the successful outcomes of their collaboration, including joint journal publishing, laboratory co-development, and data services. He expressed a commitment to further expanding the partnership to drive innovation and support the development of academic disciplines.

Laura Hassink, managing director of Elsevier's Scientific, Technical and Medical (STM) Journals, praised WHU's research achievements and expressed her excitement for future breakthroughs in information sharing and innovative research through this collaboration.

Following the signing, the Elsevier delegation visited the State Key Laboratory of Water Resources Engineering and Management, where they engaged in discussions with representatives from relevant departments.
